First Pastel Drawing

I drew the pastel drawing of still life objects in class. I used pastel paper as the material and used Rembrandt oil pastels along with pastel pencils for the lines. I used yellow and purple as complementary colors with green as the reflected light from the vase. I used brown and burnt orange for the cube. I used forest green for the vase and used white as highlights. I used brown for the table and the ceramic which had a sea green paper with a dark emerald green as the shadows. I used blue for the paper which I saw from observation.
It turned out very great for the first pastel drawing I did and it looks terrific.
